Our journey started in 2002 with the launch of HealthExpress.co.uk. Initially partnering with local pharmacies, we were the first online clinic of its kind in the UK. We experienced rapid growth during our first years of business and soon ventured further into the European market with the addition of euroClinix & 121doc to our catalogue of brands. Starting off with a small team, we now employ over 100 people globally under the Hexpress Healthcare group, many of which have been with us from the beginning. The addition of GMC doctors to our in-house medical team has further strengthened our position within the healthcare industry and opened new opportunities for the expansion of our range of treatments and services.
We are fully regulated by a number of UK authorities, including the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Care Quality Commission (CQC). All our doctors are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and our pharmacy is regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). We also protect our patients’ data in cooperation with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
